Our Story
Our story so far has been one of learning, of discovering what Church might look like if we are to make disciples and to see the kingdom of God come in our communities. Like you, we love people, we feel their pain and we want to effectively reach them and above all we want to help others to do the same. We have learned that to make disciples we must first become disciples and that our actions are as important as our systems and mentoring.
We have spent the last few years unlearning, changing and experimenting with ways in which we might make disciples, live on mission more effectively. We have embraced failure and even learned to celebrate it as part of our journey towards discovering His ways for us to reach our neighborhoods.
As we have experimented with methods we have discovered a new loving relationship with Jesus and His people, our neighbors. This has led us to the conclusion that each of us has unique callings and giftings and that our task now is to help you discover yours and be the Church in this ever changing world.
We soon realized that we could not travel this road alone, we had to find others who had gone before us and after years of searching we discovered Tampa Underground Network.
So, for the last few years we have pioneered here in St Louis and in St Charles County and more recently Warren County innovative ways of discipleship and mission suitable to the variety of contexts in this region.
